About The Author
Nicola Ferguson was born in 1949 and brought up in Northern Ireland. She has a PhD in psychology, and she has also become an experienced gardener. She now lives with her husband and one daughter in Edinburgh, where they have a north facing, high-walled garden.
Reader ReviewsThere are two books on gardens that I use, the first is the Sunset Garden book, and The Right Plant For the Right Place. I was a landscape designer, and would carry these 2 books to show folks why they should or shouldn't place a plant in a given area. Plants should have a chance to be healthy and not create a labor intensive yard maintenance problem.
