Product Description
In this most recent episode of the immensely popular St. Titus bridge books, we meet again the pompous and self-important Abbot, who is hosting the annual St. Francis of Assisi Swiss teams for monastic establishments. Hilarious encounters ensue against a team of monks from southern Germany and some equally incomprehensible friars from Scotland. The showdown culminates in a final match against their old rivals, the nuns of St. Hilda's. This story is a first-rate mixture of great bridge, entertaining characters, and sparkling dialogue.
About The Author
David Bird is recognized as the world's leading humorous bridge writer. He is also a bridge player of distinction and is the bridge critic of the Mail on Sunday, Evening Standard, and Glasgow Times.
Reader Reviews
The content is good. I have always enjoyed reading these articles in the Bridge Bulletin". However, I was very dissapointed in the small size of the print and the quality of the paper. For $22, I expected better quality.
