Although there is an appended note about the origins of Chanukah and some of its customs, the text assumes some background knowledge on the part of readers. This book deals with Chaunukah in a simple nice way. It is a good introduction for the holiday for novices. I really like this series and own the books on Ramadan and Diwali also. Good for kids K-3.
