About The Author
Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931) was one of the 20th century's most inspirational poets, authors, and artists. He is the author of The Prophet, the bestselling book of the 20th century.
Reader ReviewsWhile Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet is most beautiful and true, his treatise on Jesus is poetic and is written as though he interviewed each one of the people who knew and loved the man, as well as though who feared and hated him. The words he quotes are as new and expressive as though they had been said yesterday. Gibran loved Jesus and understood what loves and hates and angers Jesus had to deal with in his short thirty years of miraculous living on this earth. This is a book to keep and treasure and to renew an appreciation of this Son of Man.
