Reader ReviewsI was nervous about spending so much money for a Qur'an translation. I have read several translations by Yusuf Ali, Shakir, Pickthall, Irving, Asad and Puya/Ali and none cost so much. I found this translation an excellent complement to my other translations because it offers a fresh approach while remaining faithful to the meaning of the Arabic. I am glad I purchased it because there is no other translation like it. I think it is the only novel translation that does not depart from true Qur'anic meaning. It is a good gift to a non-Muslim because there is no Arabic in it, it is translation only in a nice modern-looking hardback....
