Reader ReviewsI just got my copy of this book yesterday, read it last night and I am going to start this program today. I have total faith in this program, because I have been following the exercises in the other book by John Peterson "Pushing Yourself To Power". In fact I wrote an early review of that book on Amazon as a reader from Evanston. I have no association with the author or publisher (Bronze Bow), other than reading and following his previous book and website forum. So I have nothing to gain by writing this review. I am writing it because I just want others to learn what a GOOD thing this book contains. Since following the advice in John Peterson's first book for about the last 5 months, I have lost 35 lbs. and gained a lot of muscle. ( I probably could have lost more weight if I been able to competely avoid my nemesises, pizza and chocolate.) I now like seeing myself in the mirror when I am getting dressed in the morning. My shoulders and upper body are getting nicely defined, and I can't wait to see what I will look like by next summer. In fact, my lady friend just the other day commented on how my arm is all muscle. So this program has other benefits than just good health (for those of you reading this who are a little slow, let me spell it out for you_it helps attract the babes). I still have quite a way to go to achieve my perfect body, but with the tools of the Miracle 7 and Pushing Yourself To Power I know I will achieve it. The most amazing thing to me is the fact that I am 53 almost 54 and my body is in better shape than when I was 30. John Peterson himself is in his 50s and looks fantastic. Imagine what you can do if you start this program while you are still in your 20s or 30s. I personally have tried many other ways of working out, (e.g. the health club route), but with Mr. Peterson's methods I don't have to pay expensive fees, get in my car and travel to the health club. I also have a heck of a lot less nagging aches, pains and injuries, than I had when I was lifting weights. This program is not magic, however, you have to be persistant and consistant, and do it on an almost daily basis to achieve results. (I am averaging about 5-6 days a week doing the workouts. When I started I could hardly do any of the Furey push-ups (about ten), but just the other night I did a set of 46.) However, there is a variety of exercises so you can mix it up and not get bored. I reccommend getting both of John Peterson's books to get the total picture. Obviously, I am a man so I can'ton the portions of the book contributed by Wendie Pett other than to say it looks like the program works good for women as well, judging by how great Wendie looks. Anyway to sum it up if you are looking for a fitness program that gives great results, costs very little, you can do at home with no equipment (except for maybe a chinning bar), and you can do pretty much for the rest of your life, Check this out.
