I was in search of a book with ideas on how to celebrate the year that were more Nature and Earth-oriented than the "common" Pagan ceremonies. I am also a pantheist who prefers not to incorporate the worship of deities into my holidays. Although the authors refer to the Earth as the Goddess (which I do not do), the book is amazingly easy to sympathize with and embrace. I particularly like their idea of the talking stick for use during the Winter to help shed the stress of being so cooped up. I heavily recommend this book to anyone in search of Nature-oriented ways to celebrate the holidays and especially to Pagans in search of creating their own traditions.
