About The Author
Truman G. Madsen, who received graduate degrees in philosophy and philosophy of religion from the University of Utah and
Harvard University, has served as the director of the Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies. Brother Madsen is a popular speaker at BYU Education Week and in other settings, and he has published many books--including Joseph Smith the Prophet and Presidents of the Church--as well as many talks on CD, such as Jesus of Nazareth and The Intimate Touch of Prayer. He and his wife, Ann, have three children and a Navajo foster son.
