Book Description
My Body--His Temple: The Prophet Daniel's Guide to Nutrition is a biblical guide to health and nutrition. It utilizes the Bible to help the Christian become healthier by treating his body as the temple of God.
Publisher Description
If we look at the prophet Daniel's example, we now see that 21st century Christians are faced with a similar dilemma as he was in 606 B.C. He was forced to choose between Nebuchadnezzar's rich food and a vegetarian diet. In the first chapter of Daniel, we see that he rightly picked the latter. This scenario has come full circle in the 21st century; we are now forced to choose between the rich Standard American Diet (SAD) and a vegetarian diet.
Achieve the level of health that God intended for you since the Creation. Certified Nutritionist. Kenny Loy, gives biblical and scientific evidence for a return to the original diet, when mankind lived long lives on a vegetarian diet of raw
fruits and vegetables. He also attempts to explain Daniel's return to the Genesis diet. Learn how to be healthy God's way!
Reader Reviews
If you are a Christian, and even mildly concerned about your own health or the health of your family, then My Body-His Temple: The Prophet Daniel's Guide to Nutrition is the book to get you going. Not only is it informative, it's motivational. The author gives scriptural reference for many points included in the book so you can go to your own copy of the Bible and see for yourself how God intended for us to nourish ourselves. My Body-His Temple reads well and it's interesting. The vegetarian recipes included are a nice bonus and make the book well worth the money spent. I consider this book recommended reading for the nutritionally challenged (namely me).
