Reader ReviewsThis book is a great resource for anyone wanting to learn more about the the core components and research topics within the field of Forensic Anthropology. If your are considering taking a class or pursuing a career in either Forensic Anthropology or Physical/Biological Anthropology, then buy this book right now! You won't regret it. It's the only book I know of that covers everything from sexing the skeleton to traum to mumification to bioarchaeology to much, much more. Each sub-category within the field of Forensic Anthropology is masterfully summerized in a couple pages with fantastic colored phots and case-studies to help the reader make sense of the the text. Originally the book was written for high-school students, but don't let that fool you. I'm in Grad School studying Foresnsic Anthropology and this book is sitting on my bookshelf right next to a 400 page Forensic Anthro text full of words I have trouble just pronouncing. This is the book I turn to when I need a 2 - 3 minute refresher course on any of the sub-categories or terminology I haven't looked at in a while.
