Sciama is a co-author in papers of Martin Rees;I have to compare this book to:Before The Beginning: Our Universe And Others (Helix Books) and Gravitation and Cosmology: Principles and Applications of the General Theory of Relativity. It comes out ahead of both for different reasons. But for the age of this book it may be the best Cosmology book I've seen. It has the equations and the explanations that are way beyond the time it was written. The Mexican hat diagrams on the next to last page are very important. Back To Top
