Product Description
In order to understand the CreationEvolution controversy, one should use as the basis of discussion, the origin of the universe, the origin of life and the origin of man. This book takes this approach and concludes that the appearance of the universe, life and man, is the result of both creation and limited evolution. Dr. Ashby concludes that there is a logical resolution of the controversy consistent with both modern science and the Bible.
Reader ReviewsThis book was just sad. If I could have given it a 0, I would have. Ashby claims to have spent 5 years studying evolution and yet he consistently argues in circles, misquotes his sources, and makes logical jumps from insufficient evidence. Be very wary if you're going to read this book because you are looking for a scientific yet Christian perspective on evolution...it will leave you shortsighted and embarrassed if ever you try to debate using Ashby's points. I would recommend instead checking out Francis Collins' "The Language of God" or Ken Miller's "Finding Darwin's God" for healthy Christian arguements.
