The author of this book is a 14 year old home-schooled Christian. The entire book promotes his Creationism theories. He mentions that Hitler was an evolutionist. He condemns National Geographic magazine as one of evolution's top propagators. He compares 'evolution' belief to communism and dictators. Chapter 14 is titled "Consequences of Belief in Evolution". Mentions that scientists don't want to discover modern dinosaurs because support of this would prove that Creationists/Bible are right when they say that man and dinosaurs were created 6000 years ago! Quotes include: "The Holy Bible is God's record to us of how the universe began." "When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, it brought sin into the world. That is why we have disease and suffering." "Evolution uses dinosaurs as one of Satan's biggest devices to have Christians become confused or lose faith because scientists claim dinosaurs are millions of years old and they evolved. This is contrary to the Biblical account in Genesis that God created all living things". Check out page 104 about what happens if you reject the Bible in gigantic letters! These people don't understand science any more than OJ's jurors understood DNA! The back cover states "His love for God's word and all His creation motivated him to write this book". The only reason I'm even giving this 2 stars is because it's cheap ($9) and there is a good collection of a variety of different cryptids with descriptions, etc. Most of these are brief, however, and most people into cryptozoology will be familiar with most, although they are interesting. The print type is fairly large with nearly half of it highlighted in bold, which is distracting!
