"This book is very timely and applicable, addressing the range and variety of threats and scenarios. The truth is that we don't know exactly what the future will bring in terms of threats, so we need the comprehensive and flexible understanding that is presented within these pages."--Corrie Brown, DVM, U Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine
"Ryan and Glarum have produced a reference document appropriate for the libraries of emergency planners and managers, public health leadership, as well as state and local elected officials Used pedagogically, the book is suitable for graduate-level students in public health, emergency management, public administration , and journalism The authors bring a balanced mix of scholarship and response experience to the creation of this text."--Bret Atkins, "Review of

Reader ReviewsI was very impressed by this text. It is easy to read (without being simplistic), well illustrated, and it covered most of the area. If you are interested in biosecurty, I suggested that you get this book. I am not easliy pleased but this is a good book.
