Reader ReviewsI can't understand why a large number of prior reviewer are so unhappy with this book. If your assumption is that money will come falling out of the sky just by purchasing this book, then you will be just as disappointed as those who have such a negative opinion about this text. If you're looking to retire or quit your job off of the information in this book, you may be disappointed as well. I think the intent is mostly for those who want to look at an additional source of funding, NOT a primary source. For those of you who are willing to work at looking at available sources, making a phone call (or two, or three! ), and exerting some effort on your part, then this book should get you going in the right direction. One of the first pages of this book states in black and white that most of this will be outdated before you can use it, but with a little effort you can get the information you want. I know of a number of colleagues from all walks of life and various disciplines that found this book to be of tremendous help to them (funding research and personal interests by following the advice in this book), so the argument that it's only for specific people is not extremely accurate. You have to be willing to do your part in order for this text to work. If you anticipate this being similar to "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", where you sit for an hour or so and have money appear out of nowhere, you will be just as disappointed as the other reviewers of this text. YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK!
