About The Author

This lecture was originally recorded at one of Mrs. Ponder's weekend seminars and made available on cassette tapes. I have enjoyed the cassette tapes for years, and bought this MP3 thinking that her cassettes had been transferred to MP3 format. WRONG!!! First of all, the MP3 starts with Track 3. There are no Track 1 or Track 2, so you don't even get the whole program. Second, Catherine Ponder herself is nowhere on the MP3. The voice is someone else reading a script, and this person is certainly not a professional actress or voiceover artist. The MP3 has an unnamed woman with an annoying monotone voice that has no emotion, no inflection, and quickly becomes very annoying to listen to. Marketing this MP3 as Catherine Ponder, with a graphic of Mrs. Ponder on the front of the CD, seems very misleading to me. The product is a huge disappointment, and I would strongly recommend tracking down a copy of the original cassettes instead.
