In my opinion it is one of, if not the, best health economics textbooks on the market. In fact, it is the only textbook I have been willing to use since I began teaching the subject a few years ago.

This text would be very interesting to my students, since most come from professional schools and are more interested in economic applications rather than economic methodology.

This book is used in the CEBS course for health care economics. I was skeptical about ordering from an online source.
