Book Description
This text explains the physical nature of electric and magnetic fields found in electrical engineering. It does this with a combination of clearly set out and basic theory, easily understood computational methods, and practical engineering applications. An accompanying computer program gives a graphic display of the fields and performs computations on designs created by the student.
Reader Reviews
This review is from: Engineering Electromagnetism: Physical Processes and Computation (Textbooks in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, No 3) (Paperback)
The book provides an excellent introduction to both the foundations of electromagentic theory, building up to complex analysis including wave guides and other transmission effects. Starting in a manor accessible to virtually any reader, the book provides great emphasis on the tube and slice analysis techniques using a style which makes an otherwise dull area a joy to read. The only university text I've actually read cover to cover non stop.
