The files can be accessed from the File Explorer in the same way that you open files from a CD-ROM disc; the CD-ROM and DVD-ROM formats are functionally the same, but the DVD has more than six times greater storage capacity. Of course, this disc cannot be "played" in a DVD player connected to a television set. It contains computer-formatted data, not video.
Reader ReviewsAll ESA Recovery Plans from 1989 to 2001 are included. There are so many endangered & threatened species in the USA it just boggles the mind! And all this incredibly hard to find information is listed on a single CD! Absolutely amazing! While the ESA is currently under siege by the Bush 2 Administration, one has to wonder if anyone in the current Interior Department is following through on any of these plans! I look forward to an update of this important information in 2009, once a more enlightened group of individuals retakes the White House!
